Pros

there are no pros. none. Dose now goes by Orchard by the way. I bet they changed their name to try and distance themselves from their terrible GlassDoor reviews.

Cons

Scroll through LinkedIn. Find the only person who has worked at Dose, which now goes by Orchard, for more than 6 years and you will have identified the main source of its problems. I actually consulted lawyers about a potential retaliation lawsuit after my experience working at this sicko company. 4 years later, I still have nightmares. Like, actual nightmares while I'm asleep. There are some seriously manipulative, narcissists at Dose. If you are a semi-decent person who cares even an inkling about your own well being or the well being of others, I highly suggest staying away from this insane company.

Pros

- The best part of Dose has and always will be its employees. The majority are headstrong, creative, fun and good at what they do. - Excellent benefits package - Fun company events - Opportunity to push yourself and play in many different roles across the organization, since the company is so small - Unlimited PTO - There is finally a direction and unique offering for the company, which has helped create some stability. More people are hired into roles that they will actually perform, unlike in the past

Cons

- Upper management has always been a mess, is stifling and prioritizes an inner circle. It's created a toxic work environment for many that is detrimental to mental health. Often feels like no one can do the work better than upper management. - The company has tried to pivot to The Next Big Thing in social media like a teenager going through phases in middle school, ending in lay offs, a lack of transparency and identity crises - Employees are overworked, underpaid, and undervalued - Lots of turnover and no hesitation to fire people leads to distrust and a "what's today's drama?" mindset, covered by an excuse like "our company and social media just moves too fast"
