Pros

Everyone at EOBR was extremely friendly and the owner and my supervisor were very flexible.

Cons

If this job were to be in Iowa where I currently reside it would’ve paid nearly double with full benefits and some sort of retirement fund.

Pros

I was paid for the work I did.

Cons

What these guys do should be criminal. My experience started nice with training from 2 very capable techs. We were told to learn to install trailers and we would be good to go once we got to a site. We worked for a week and learned to install trailers. Then we were sent to our first job site where we were told “prove you can install 2 trailers per day and we will take you off training pay.” We were also paired with 2 “seasoned techs” that were supposed to do the tractor installs while we handled the trailers. Problem was these seasoned techs had never done this before so we ended up having to do part of their job on the tractors for no pay while they got up to speed. 2nd site we went to had 70 plus tractor trailer installs to perform. Problem was all 70 of the trailer kits shipped there had no rear camera. Management offered no solution and just said show up and work and we will let you know what you get paid. It took a new hire tech to give management a solution that would allow us to keep working. 3rd site was told to drive 20 hours and then advised everyone was being sent home for Easter after working one day. Once again, new hire tech had to give management solution for keeping installs going and not having individual spend another 2 days driving back home. They are going to tell you how great they pay. Reality is they don’t manage the business well enough to keep everyone working consistently for the great pay to even add up to decent money. This is contract work. They will not be helping you if you are hurt on the job. They will not be contributing taxes and you will owe at least 30% of whatever you bring home. They are going to give you a tool list that costs around $3000 with ZERO concern as to your return on that investment. I started in February and have been home more than I’ve worked. It’s been over 2 months and some 30 plus techs are just sitting idle at home. Management gives no updates because they don’t care.
