Pros

The pay is generally good and towards top of market.

Cons

This company is being led by a CEO and Founder with no skills for the job. He is a terrible people manager and does not have the team behind him. He also does not understand the end users (parents with children who desperately need help) and makes rash decisions that put these children in jeopardy. Over the last year Yury has pushed out the great leadership talent this company used to have. The former COO was effective at leading the organization (essentially standing in as CEO) and the entire team loved him. His areas were thriving while the areas reporting under Yury were a mess, creating huge problems for the rest of the company. When the COO departed earlier this year, Yury took the reins and everything fell apart. Most leaders at the Director and above level either left quickly or were fired. Yury has a typical relationship with leaders at Elemy. He promises them the world to get them in and loves them for the first couple of months on the job. But these leaders quickly discover they have less autonomy and resources than promised, and relatively little ability to do the job they were hired for. And when they don't do things exactly as Yury prescribes, he quickly decides they're not 'the right fit' and pushes them out. There is no room for discussion, strategy, or innovation. All the good leaders are now gone. The leaders who remain are the ones who say 'yes' to everything Yury asks. The other notable change at Elemy in the last year is the mass exodus of women, especially in leadership. While it’s unclear if these women left on their own or were pushed out, it’s crystal clear that this environment was not conducive for them. We witness constant micro aggressions and gaslighting (often in public meetings) and noticeable favoritism towards male employees. I've had female colleagues come to me on many occasions, referencing a hostile culture for women.

Pros

Some members of the team (non leadership) are great folks.

Cons

Leadership (e.g., Yury, SR) may be some of the least ethical people I've met. Openly have spoken about not caring about mental health / autism care / what the company actually does. Have heard of firings for people who are looking to get pregnant / married. Not a good culture.
