Pros
You can make money if you do not mind being unethical and breaking the law.
Cons
Deris Ceresa operates this business as if he was a car dealer, but he does not have a license to buy or sell cars in the State of Florida. His license was revoked in November 2002 after he had charges files against him for defrauding 44 customers of almost $1,000,000. Instead he wants private people to purchase cars for him and give him power of attorney so he can sell the cars to someone else at a great profit, suspecting exporting to out of the USA. The big problem is that the State tracks how many cars you buy and sell as an individual, and only allows you to buy and sell 3 cars a year without being a licensed dealer. When you do it 4 times you are reported by the tax collector and get a cease and desist letter and are subject to a $5,000 fine. The Luxury car dealers have also gotten wise to this and may "black ball" you. They have been known to file a 6 month lien for $1.00 on a car if they suspect that you are going to resell it, and this stops you from transferring to someone else. You may win your day in court, but they can seize your money and any cars you have bought until you defend yourself.
