7yThe info in this review about commission is correct, but commission-based jobs are not borderline pyramid schemes.
Like any entrepreneur, the amount of money CMs earn depends on how much they sell. Our top CMs do $100K in revenue in a 14 week semester and spend 10 - 15 hours a week, meaning they earn over $50 an hour. Less successful CMs earn less. We all work very closely with our students to make it worth everyone's time. And we're very upfront about the fact that it's a commission-only job. We tell applicants that at three different points during interviews.
Pyramid schemes require that new participants pay into the company to join. Their joining fee constitutes the revenue that earlier participants earn. We do nothing even close to that. We have never and will never ask Campus Managers to pay for anything. We cover every cost involved, including training, graphics, and fulfilling orders.
