Pros
Set your own hours to be scheduled
Cons
Only Work Here If You Don't Really Need To Work A Job For Income - go weeks at a time without being scheduled - multiple techs in many areas to keep from paying gas money - dispatch does not know how to collect information - dispatch does not know how to convey information they do collect - giant markup on parts ( i was forced to charge a customer $125 for a low-end power supply purchased from best buy) - extremely tedious paperwork not only needs to be filled out once but twice - lies about pay rates - pushing more remote management vs on site, so you don't get tickets - $150 total in a month - Lied to during the interview about the number of calls I would get per week (I was told five tickets a week, more often than not I didn't get 5 tickets a month) - Hired additional contractors in other areas to not pay me gas money - Language barrier, as home office employees are primarily foreign - Relying on their promises for income I nearly lost my apartment and came close to having my car repossessed. If I didn't fend for myself and find other work I would be homeless today - constantly lowering the amount of money they give for "gas" - home office "techs" are not educated in technology, more like trained monkeys to run scans. Every dispatch I got was for a "virus" only to find out otherwise when I arrived and interviewed my client. - dispatch will not answer phones at times - dispatch will give incorrect addresses and waste your time - dispatch does not vhett the end user to make sure they can fully pay for work needed, this may be partially due to a lack of experience and understanding of what the issue really is
