This school offers a friendly, collaborative environment. Staff are encouraged to share ideas and mentor each other.
Cons
There are several major challenges for teachers who work full time: The workload is extremely heavy, since teachers must take on multiple grade levels/curricula at one time. There is very little prep time, and many supervisory duties. There is very little, if any, support from the administration--especially in dealing with parent conflicts. The administration is under-experienced and not particularly organized. They also do not seem particularly knowledgeable, nor are they interested, in ensuring that proper pedagogical methods are utilized. There are currently two vice principals, but no principal. Hopefully once this issue is addressed, the school will vastly improve.
