Pros

Easy to get to location, easily accessible through most subway lines. Breakfast on Fridays Beautiful Instagram worthy office.

Cons

Major boys club mentality, management is all men that speak very condescendingly to you if you're a woman. CEO Michael Rosenberg is a nutjob. You're not Jewish? Prepare for tons of Jewish allegories and fables explaining why you're a bad person. He yelled at a young woman once because she wanted to leave the office ON TIME because she had an important thing. You're supposed to know what he wants, when he wants it. Pay is not industry standard for designers. There was recently a huge turnover of people either being fired or choosing to leave. No real opportunity to create your own design here, mainly just ripping off from North Face's last year design.

Cons

- The industry is fast paced, pressurized, and strictly deadline based, it’s not for everyone.

Pros

Sadly, many who remain are either too demoralized to leave or have been conditioned to accept dysfunction as normal!

Cons

Having worked in the outerwear industry for years, I can say that this company is widely known for its toxic internal culture. Leadership, particularly the owner and the sales lady create a hostile work environment that fosters fear, not growth. Management behavior often crosses professional boundaries, and psychological safety is virtually nonexistent. The turnover rate is alarmingly high, and many of the employees who remain do so because they feel they have no other options. There’s little to no support, mentoring, or appreciation. only intimidation, blame shifting, and micromanagement. If you’re considering joining this company, I would strongly recommend doing thorough research and speaking to former employees beforehand. You’ll hear the Word ‘Psycho’ more than once.
