Be prepared for schedule changes at short notice.

Pros

When appreciation or recognition is not part of the environment, you eventually detach emotionally and treat the role purely as a job, avoiding any expectation of being valued.

Cons

- Leadership consistently displayed arrogance and self centered behavior, with little regard for employee well being - Employee effort was treated as an obligation to deliver rather than something that deserved recognition - There was a complete lack of appreciation or acknowledgment for work done, regardless of effort or stress involved - Expectations were constantly increased without any balancing support, recognition, or positive feedback - Employees were left feeling invisible and unvalued despite ongoing performance and contribution - The environment became emotionally draining due to the absence of basic recognition or respect - Over time, the lack of appreciation significantly reduced morale and made the work feel unrewarding
