Here we go..
- The pay is absolutely horrendous, it is pretty much minimum wage yet they expect the world from you.
- The lack of training is terrible, they just expect you to get on with it, with very little training, usually managers outsource the training to other team members, burdening them with so much pressure which is undeserved!
- TARGETS! They are so unrealistic - unless you are a robot you have no chance of reaching them everyday and even if you do reach them do not expect any praise from any team leader.
- Don't expect friendly team leaders - most that were in my department were robotic characters that failed to smile at any point.
- Their idea of a fun social is getting free coffees in twice a year...
- Only 20 holidays a year which I think is the lowest a company can offer?
- Do you want everyday to be different? Well Keoghs is not for you, repetitive - so much so the keyboard lettering was fading due to pressing the same keys everyday.
- Two members of my team took time off work due to stress (One has not come back still after 6 months...)
- Do you like not having your opinions or feelings listened to? YOU WILL LOVE KEOGHS THEN! BECAUSE THEY NEVER LISTEN!
- You will not be paid for any sickness days for your first year (Doubt you will last that long)
- Fee Earners emailing you asking you to turn water into wine (or equivalent in solicitor scenarios)
- It is all doom and gloom - the company will suck the life out of you.
I lasted exactly six months at the organisation before I finally quit. I was always known as a happy, friendly individual before Keoghs; but the organisation destroyed my self confidence, my happiness and generally they made me feel about 1 foot tall. They treat you with utter disdain and they do not really care about that.
