Pros

-Can't complain about the salary -Had an outing every few months

Cons

-Unpaid overtime and unpaid labor violations where management ignored the complaint and the DOL ended up getting involved to settle. -Understaffed, expected to work 40 hrs in office then 1-2 hrs at home each day. -Management didn't listen to advice or were uninformed and didn't look into things. -Raises were removed when new management was hired and a bonus program initiated that was unattainable. A set of goals was outlined and additional goals were added to an already signed agreement. -There was more freedom in the developers department than in CS, a sense of inequality between departments.

Pros

Family environment, with tech company culture. Co-founders are driven, open minded, and believe in the company mission. Their enthusiasm is contagious. Open vacation & sick policy, a lot of freedom to start new projects and try new ideas. Teamwork everywhere you look. Work hard, play hard kind of office. Great benefits, great people.

Cons

During my time at Listia there were problems with leadership on the customer support team, but those issues have been resolved & there has since been a change of leadership on the support team. That one problem is the only con on my list, and it's been resolved. So, no cons! One thing to consider for SF city dwellers is the commute, but I didn't mind it at all.
