Cons
Employees are EXTREMELY over worked especially now with layoffs work has not doubled but tripled on every employee. No raises. But they offer stock options; cmannn stock options? What are we in the 1800's? 3 massive lay off in less than a year. First lay off took place in February of 2016. Second layoff took place in January 2017, and the most recent layoff took place February 2017. CEO's answer to employees that stayed is they're "downsizing" .... yet new employees started the following Monday? (Insert confuse meme here) Customer Service outsourcing? Company just spent a fortune on a rebrand and new logo that isn't great. "Loot Crate" now looks like "LootCrate" one word instead of a two. An extremely well known pet peeve of the CXO. Dude, you approved that after constantly correcting / belittling your employees for spelling it wrong? Ok. A company that went on a "careless toys-r-us shopping spree" with their money all last year. And now they aren't making any of that money that they spent so what are they doing? Causing a constant state of worry and stress on everyone because the loss of subscribers and lapse of sales. The way things are going even I wouldn't purchase the crate. LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES, THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP. Are we going broke? Seriously though, what happened to the kitchen being stock every day? Hired way tooooo many employees way too fast. I'd say they are slowly letting people go and selling the company. They cashing ouuuut bro These crates are not selling. Sales are rapidly going down and it's getting harder for the company to get partnerships with franchises and genres Spending hundreds of thousands (maybe millions?) on Facebook ads that are financially hurting the company hence the layoffs, empty kitchens, and no raises. Company morale has gone down dramatically. People are walking on egg shells since the layoffs have occurred and continue. Tears were shed, tension is tight, now what? It's not like you're going to bring those 60 people back. "Kermit sips glass of wine"
