Pros

Very nice product, fun people to work with, family atmosphere, bonuses for those who preform really well, good training program/you learn a lot about jewellery and sales

Cons

Not a stable job (hours completely depend on your sales preformance), high pressure to sell even though it is not commission based, sales associates are fired often if they have a month or two with low sales so you end up feeling very disposable, sales associates and management are underpaid

Pros

- You learn great selling techniques that can be very effective.

Cons

- The kiosk is literally the smallest environment. Sometimes they make you work alone for over 4 hours and there is a camera following your every more. Therefore, you are not allowed to: drink, eat, sit, use your cellphone, read a book or basically do anything when there are no customers. You are forced to stand there by yourself and sometimes there can be no customers for over 2 hours. - The jewellery is actually extremely cheap quality and breaks constantly. You will have to deal with very angry and disappointed customers on the daily. - There is an INSANE lack of communication in this company. This involves the sales associates as well as the management. I have never seen such a poorly-managed company. - Make sure to always verify your paychecks. They tend to "forget" to pay you for some hours. - They fire people CONSTANTLY. In one year, they hired and fired 68 girls in ONE kiosk. You can be in the top 3 sales associates for months, but the second you are at the bottom of the list: you're fired. - This is not a secure job. I strongly suggest you to keep applying for other jobs (even if you are hired at Magnolia) because you will most likely not last very long.

Pros

I learned a lot about jewelry and learned new skills with approaching and selling to customers.

Cons

-They completely disrespect your minimum hours or limit. They make you ''sell to get hours'' meaning if its dead the whole week and you don't get to sell much, they drop your hours like crazy, I went from 30hrs a week to 8hrs a week, when I was only in third place by a few dollars, its ridiculous. I personally worked in a smaller mall thats rarely busy and we honestly never sale a lot, its not rare that we're at 0 for a few days straight and they don't take the fact that theres no customers in consideration. -They like to lie and say that theres no competition since its not commission but then they put you under pressure constantly to do more and sell more and even when you're doing extremely well they push and push again. They always ''forget'' to pay you for hours you did. -Not a stable job, your hours go from a lot to nothing out of no where and they fire anyone for no reason at all.
