Pros
Home and work-life balance are great. There are ways to have flexible schedules if and when needed.
Cons
As with all jobs, some managers are older and have been in the industry for a lone time and are holding the company back from growing. They are stuck in a mind set gone by and have trouble understanding to keep talent, you need to value your employees. It's a common "former military" mindset where someone might think the paycheck is all an employee needs to be happy and with the job market today, that is not the case.
