Love MealPal and the impact we have for restaurants and customers - Anonymous employee MealPal Employee Review

I have been an employee at MealPal (a Pal!) for over a year and love it here. Many people come to a startup to have impact and be close to the decision making and that is how I feel. I am excited to be able to know that what I do in my job matters. The hours are not bad for a startup and there is lots of team socializing as well as training. People in the office are really friendly, people often sit down in the kitchen to eat lunch and it's fun to get to know people on teams outside of NYC too. We have all team meetings where anyone can ask anything and people are always happy and open to share what they are working on. I learn a lot from the people I work with - on my team and also from the founders. I think the founders really listen to the team and have taken lots of feedback on board. They are definitely not the kind of "corner office, feet up" founders! The biggest pro is that we are doing such great things for both our restaurant partners and customers. Restaurants love being part of MealPal and there is a fun slack channel that shares positive feedback from our customers. It's nice to work for a company where all my friends use and love the product.
