Pros

While I can't speak for those who have had negative experiences at the dispensary level, working for HO is great. It also depends on your position and your manager, but if you're used to climbing up in a corporate environment and have an understanding of corporate structure, this is a good place to work. They take into consideration that you are a human being and try their best to accommodate your needs. Management provides guidance and tries to help when there is an increase in workflow. Management also recognizes and acknowledges accomplishments and provides appropriate feedback for personal and career goals and expectations. Friendly staff, nice office space with underground parking, standard comprehensive benefits, and the client base is constantly growing.

Cons

As with any workplace, you will come across certain individuals that are not your cup of tea. Know that management have already taken notice of those who are disliked by many for legitimate reasons. Not too much room to move up. Possible, but may take long depending on your role. Standard 2 weeks vacation If you're in a role that requires travel, you could potentially be away from home for 2 weeks +, depending on the project Compensation could be better

This is not a career focused environment. They function like a fast food chain. Shift work, poor management

Pros

*Great work life balance *Comfortable office environment with lunch room, access to refrigerator, microwave, coffee station *Great employees

Cons

*They took on another company called Ontario Medical Supply under their umbrella and increased the workload drastically without increasing the pay *Poor job security during the COVID-19 pandemic there were so many layoffs *New manager let people go so she could hire her own acquaintances
