-Totally new area of economy and a lot to learn (only for people who likes challenges and likes to learn something new)
-A lot of numbers to work with (only for people who likes math or at least ready to work with huge amount of numbers, spreadsheets, etc.)
-Work schedule 15:00-00:00 Mn-Th, 15:00-21:30 Fr Kyiv time (it can be cons if you’re an early bird, not night owl)
-PTO policies which are good for business, but not pretty good for the staff (18 paid days off days, 5 unpaid day offs, for some dep-ts allowed 7 days off straight in a row only, 2 holidays on 31th Dec and 1st Jan will be taken from your PTO, you must find someone to cover for your work while you’re out)
-Middle management is doing the best they can and have really wonderful hard skills, however a lot of managers need additional trainings on the basics of individual and team motivation techniques. Since for team success, everyone should feel they can trust their captain/teamlead, not to be afraid of asking something to avoid destructive criticism.
-US clients provide pretty slow remote desktop and old style apps for work which affect the performance quality.
-Long trainings (up to 1-2 months) before given some real work. Which is good to learn as much as possible, however bad to implement those learned skills to work at early stages to understand whether you like the routine job or not.
