Pros
You can write your expenses off when you file your taxes. Be very diligent in documenting mileage and maintenance because there are no deductions from your skimpy pay. They thrive on high turnover, so there's always new people who know less than you.
Cons
"Make $20+ per hour with Postmates!" they said. For noobies the first two weeks were busy, 6-9 jobs in 4 hours. Then you're hooked and they drop off to 1-3 jobs. Same time slots, same areas. Being on shift for priority dispatch means nothing. Talking about best places to get jobs on the Facebook group is forbidden by the moderators. Any frustration or problem feedback is deleted, with "hang in there champ" feedback. Staying in the same place for more than 30 minutes gets you kicked off the app; they expect you to spend gas money driving around aimlessly waiting for hires. After 1 job offer in four hours, I was literally kicked off the app for not accepting enough jobs, when I hadn't even received any!!
