Pros

Events if you like to travel. Happy hour if you like to party (instead of receiving any real benefits.)

Cons

The place is run by two insecure men desperate to prove their relevance by showing off with material possessions and overcompensating for their fragile egos. They promote only their best friends and family because those are the only ones crazy enough to stay and keep their secrets.

Pros

The owners, Bart Knellinger and Gerritt Cora, have always proven to be men of their word when you honor your part which is at times difficult to keep dental offices on track. I have been entrusting my clients to Progressive Dental for in many situations saving their practices from BK for over 15 years and the closing institute to increase patient acceptance rates for closing cases for over 8 years. My clients have repeatedly praised their work—often telling me how Progressive Dental consistently over-delivers on results. What sets Progressive Dental apart is their ability to combine innovative digital marketing strategies with comprehensive staff training. They don’t just generate leads; they train practices on how to identify the right patients and successfully guide them through case acceptance—particularly with complex surgeries—at a level of predictability that is unmatched. In today’s ever-changing environment, especially in digital marketing, having a partner like Progressive Dental is invaluable. They are a company you can truly rely on to grow a business and elevate a brand.

Cons

Anyone who is intellectually honest and has longevity in the dental industry working with clinicians, and I married one, we know they are not trained well in business functions and systems. It's a constant battle to keep practices on track and in the ever changing digital technology world, Progressive is a leader in the branding elevation and practice team sales training space. They give tools nobody else offers but babysitting practices is not something that can be reasonably expected by anyone, including a leader in the dental/medical practice growth space like Progressive Dental. So not really a con, but maybe with AI, new forms of babysitters for practices will be instituted to hold the practices more accountable to their side of the agreement for ensuring success to campaigns a practice invests with a high caliber company like Progressive.

Pros

Some of your co-workers are cool and they did have free yoga on Tuesday that you could do during your lunch.

Cons

The culture feels very top-down, outdated, and resistant to change. Employees are expected to follow existing processes without much room for feedback, experimentation, or innovation. Leadership often emphasizes KPIs and production volume over meaningful improvements to workflow, employee morale, or long-term growth. There is also a noticeable disconnect between upper management and employees. Mandatory meetings often feel more like leadership monologues than useful team discussions, and they do not always address the actual concerns people have in their roles. This workplace may suit someone who is comfortable with rigid expectations and a highly hierarchical environment, but it can be frustrating for those who want collaboration, transparency, and space to contribute new ideas.
