Pros

Some of the employees are actually great people to work with Free snacks and food (which honestly aren't necessary) Benefits were good Some of the clients are great to work with as well

Cons

Please READ this in its entirety!!! What can I say about this place. I've learned so much including how I will NEVER want to work at a place like this ever again! They honestly do not care about the overall well being of their employees. The favoritism here is absurd. If you aren't being fake and kissing someone's butt (literally and figuratively) don't expect to move up here. As the other reviews have stated, they penny pinch paying the employees what they're actually worth-It's so bad, that supervisors and managers will literally try to SABOTAGE your raise in your reviews (I had this happen to me by a supervisor turned manager). In addition, the amount of work they expect you to do versus the overtime they barely want to give/pay you is a joke, and a slap in the face quite honestly. They expect you to do so many things outside of your job description because they refuse to hire enough people and pay them what they're worth in each department. Not to mention, a lot of the supervisors and upper management are ego inflated "wannabe" mean girls (because women outweigh the men here) who like to stir bs and drama like it's a high school and not a work environment. They bring their crappy personal problems to work and will take it out on you if they are having a bad day. (A lot of them are miserable because of the pay, workload and terrible relationships they're in-they will gossip about their own issues). HR of course turns a blind eye to a lot of things happening, and is only there to protect the execs. Which they do a great job of because the President has said several inappropriate things and berated employees without any kind of repercussions-a lot of his family works in the place. The turn over rate is EXTREMELY high and it's understandable. They expect you to be grateful for "everything they've done" when in reality there are way more companies offering MORE AND BETTER. And please do not pay attention to many of the 5 star reviews that took place late last year-the employees were offered incentives to come on here to write a 5 star review about how they loved working there, and all the bad reviews were from people who couldn't pass their 3 month review/deal with the hostile work environment. Again the supervisors are a joke, most of the time they are unavailable sitting in each other's office with the doors closed and talking crap about the employees under them. A lot of them take their supervisor title too seriously, yet don't embody what it actually is. The PTO and vacation time are a joke-I couldn't imagine having kids working in the place because 12 hours every 3 months without a WFH policy is laughable. No vacation until after a year, and then it's only a week. If an unfortunate life changing event happens, expect to have to prove what occurred to your messy supervisor/manager (who might tell your business to everyone) and also a write up if you don't have proper documentation. And don't let life hit you all at once (which happens because we're human) because you're for sure at risk of losing your job if you can't show up to be a "slave" to work your 50+ hours a week like they expect you to. Speaking of write ups, if you breathe wrong here you'll most likely get written up. It's like are you even a Quest employee if you HAVEN'T been written up? And of course that doesn't have to be the first cause of action (verbal warnings are a thing) but their incompetent, title driven supervisors like to utilize that power to demean you at every chance they get! This company is a joke and I honestly don't understand how they are still in business. They don't care about their employees, they only care if you can work to the death to keep their clients happy, so they can keep bringing their money into this place. There are better companies to work for-don't work here.

Quest Trust Response

We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback and are sorry that your experience at Quest Trust Company did not meet your expectations. We take feedback like this very seriously and it is never our goal to make our employees feel as though we do not care, as we truly value each and every one of our employees across all departments and levels. We know that our company works like a machine, with every employee playing a crucial role in the success of our company. It is always our goal to acknowledge hard work where it is earned, offering bonuses or other rewards as often as we can. We appreciate your feedback on pay. There are lots of factors reviewed when considering pay adjustments, including market research, internal pay equity, candidates experience and background. We encourage all employees to reach out to our HR department if they have a concern. We take the work/life balance of our employees seriously, and never wish to make our employees feel overworked. Our hiring efforts remain a high priority and look forward to increase our number of employees, hopefully decreasing the workload some of our staff may be feeling. We are taking these comments regarding upper management seriously and hate to hear that people feel this way. While we always do our best to leave our problems at the door, we know that our employees and managers are still real people and may not always be having the best day every day. We have to understand we are all human. As we grow, we continue to do all we can to show employees our gratitude. We may not be able to offer as much as some other companies, but we are always finding ways to show our appreciation in many forms, like bonuses or additional paid time off. Last year, we did ask our employees to provide their feedback to Quest, resulting in quite a few reviews at once – many positive, we found. We can assure you that these were honest reviews provided by real employees. We apologize for any experiences you’ve had with managers that have made you feel this way. While we know our executive participate in many meetings during the day, we do our best to always remain available for communication. This year, we’re focused on rolling out a management training program that will help our managers grow to be the best leaders they can be. We provide 10 days of paid vacation and an additional 48 hours for paid time off, and we always work with those who have families in order to help accommodate everyone’s lifestyle, allowing flexible schedules and maintaining a modified work from home policy. In the event an employee has to stay late to finish something, employees working over 40 hours will always be compensated accordingly. We know not everyone is perfect and mistakes will be made, and our supervisors never resort to a write up without having a conversation with our employees first, always doing our best to set fair expectations. When something requires further disciplinary action, all employees have the right to agree or disagree, as we want everyone to feel heard. Thank you for the feedback.
