      Pros

      Was a great place to work at until my entire dept. was let go because of a pending investigation in the company's billing practices.

      Cons

      From what I've gleaned, it appears there were some extremely nefarious things going down in the billing and accounting dept. The State of NY filed charges of Medical Fraud due to double billing patients and their insurance carriers on the Health Exchange, and based on my experience working here, I can't say I'm surprised.

      Breaking into an office that has had the same lab/EMR in NYC for years is extremely difficult. The perception is that they would need to turn their office upside down to make the switch...

      Pros

      Good employee benefits. They do a good job of taking care of their staff. Office is clean and well maintained.

      Cons

      Unprofessional and borderline shady business practices with regards to how we treat our clients/customers. Strongly encouraged to bill patents for full freight regardless of whether or not their insurance is in process of paying for a bill. Frequently this results in double billing, unless the patient catches it and calls to dispute the charge, in which case, we're encouraged to put up a fight until/unless legal action is threatened.
