Business Outlook

Pros

The company is the industry leader in the PEO MEP niche. Has been in business for over 30 years, so job security is not an issue. Pay is above the standard range for most positions, and benefit package is generous with 75% of health insurance paid for your entire family and a nice 401(k) match. Culture and processes are being modernized over time (flexible hours, PTO, remote work, casual dress policy, etc.).

Cons

Company is experiencing fairly rapid growth and seeing some some staff transition and there are some growing pains as a result. Currently, employees are on a rotation where 1/3 of employees have to park at an offsite remote lot and get bussed in Management is working on an alternate/better solution. Also, the culture still has some room for improvement, but overall things seem to be headed in the right direction.

We’re in process of better managing our internal communications and agree with you that there is always room for improvement in flowing information downstream. Our managers are required to take management courses as a part of their annual goals and will be actively training to improve as people managers. Slavic promotes on-going education and training and has a continuing education reimbursement policy to encourage this. We want the best for our employees and with that is on-going education.
