      Pros

      Smith Publicity offers great flexibility to employees and a wonderful staff to work with. Overall, the publicists sincerely care about their clients and the company is constantly looking for new and better ways to help their clients market and publicize their books.

      Cons

      As an employee, the workload can be inconsistent with some weeks very light and other weeks feeling overworked. Due to the nature of the job, evaluation is hard to measure and burnout is high.

      Ample support from junior employees through executive leadership, maintains a family first policy, allows flexibility, just good people who really care about you beyond just your employment.

      - great teamwork including brainstorming. Really supportive of anyone who needs help. - transparency, honest and truthful work environment - time off between the Christmas and new year's
