I really like all of my coworkers, everyone is genuinely nice and people make an effort to get to know you
Good benefits overall
I enjoy working with fine jewelry and being involved in the creative process is fun
Convenient office location with good light
Everything is generally organized and well run
Cons
Healthcare contributions could be lower
I get asked to help out in areas outside of my job responsibility
Steady job in the heart of the NYC's Diamond District. You get familiarized with jewelry production so fast. The team is small so you work pretty closely together. There are opportunities to work your way up.
Cons
Information tracking was rather tedious and difficult to track considering there were not many people on the team. Tasks and processes were switched up frequently so there was difficulty in consistencies bewteen different information trackers. Team are dropped in numbers due to unforeseen choices made by management, which put a lot of pressure onto remaining employees. Overall overwhelming and there were difficulties expressing time off needs and work/life balance.
