Pros
-The people at Mars are great. Great friendships can be formed and your co-workers are always willing to help you out -Work/life balance - managers flexible when you have to come in late/leave early. Out usually at 5pm - rarely stay late
Cons
-Pay is well below industry standards, as well as the salary increase and bonus's - unless your upper management. Then you get to walk around with a coffee mug all day getting paid extremely well. -Promotions are a joke. Management just tells you want you want to hear without ever moving forward with helping you develop or get promoted. Also, your previous work doesn’t matter when discussing your career path at Mars so don't think what you've done in the past matters. Doing more gets your nowhere (handling two workloads for a long period of time) - not a thank you or 'great job' - and like I said before, still no conversation on a promotion or pay increase. -HR puts on great holiday, anniversary, opening day parties and a pretty cool coffee bar. However better pay and getting appreciated would be a better way improve my moral to stay. -Turnover is horrible, especially the AE and manager level. Makes routines difficult and hard to manage -Process....what process? No one knows if they're staying/going/leaving. Sometimes feels like a free for all -The CEO is just plain mean. Yells and belittles employees in front of others and makes the company put thousands of dollars into making us look like a real agency when clients come in......because they're not. -The AE's are there to just do grunt work and push paper through. There is no strategic development, insight, brief writing or planning involvement. Developing the AE's would be very beneficial in workload, turnover and management opportunities
