Pros

you dont have to work very hard- and it is easy to change solionids to fix a leak. and you can make extra on equipment start ups

Cons

it is a dead end job- and they dont give raises, and the customers dont know that we all just lie to them about every thing

Pros

No boss breathing down your neck. Just show up, get your work done and go home. No layoffs. Opportunity for promotions.

Cons

Poor benefits and pay. Old buildings. No voicemail. No direct deposit. Work being done across 3 buildings is inconvenient and results in driving across town to turn in paperwork.

Pros

Everyone is extremely friendly, hours are flexible, management is very generous with unpaid time off/flex time, everyone lets you work at your own pace, many people spend their entire careers here, so that's gotta mean they're doing something right.

Cons

Buildings have not been remodeled since the 60s, practices and technology is outdated, there is little drive to adapt or change, the paid vacation policy is very stingy, they seem to have a hard time attracting anyone besides white men to engineering.
