Pros

Very nice people work here. Lots of people interested in doing good clinical work. Flexible/telehealth only options for some clinicians. Nice to meet people from all over the country. Onboarding is smooth and easy.

Cons

Bait and switch. I was hired to be a Clinical Supervisor but Thriveworks didn't have any associates for me to supervise. They didn't seem to have a plan to hire any associates. I wasn't told any of this until after onboarding and training that this was the case. It was also clear that my regional director didn't know that I was hired for a specific job. Instead I was just expected to be a basic clinician. The pay is too low for a fully licensed person with experience and I already own my own successful private practice. I was there solely because I wanted to be a Clinical Supervisor. I didn't mind taking on some of Thriveworks clients in order to do this, but I didn't want to give any more of my prime working hours to not be working the job I actually accepted. In the end, it seemed like they were trying to mass hire clinical supervisors, clinicians, and experienced people so that they could appear to the state and to insurance companies that they have clinicians in place to take clients. I wasn't assigned any clients for nearly 6 weeks and this is a pay per visit role. For a person who would rely on Thriveworks as a main employer, they wouldn't be able to pay their bills or live on that kind of money. I wouldn't recommend this company.
