At Total Merchant Concepts (TMC) we are trusted by the owners to do the right thing at all times. I love that my co-workers share that mentality; we care about each other and our merchants, vendors and partners. It is a fun environment and it is very-fast paced. Most of the employees are long-term, one has been here 15+ years. Leadership is responsive to suggestions and we feel we have a stake in the business and its future.

As I mentioned, TMC is a fast-paced business. I have seen some former employees not be able to handle the work-load. I love the challenge and have grown professionally over the years.

As I reflect back on 2017 one of the biggest pros of being employed with Total Merchant Concepts is the opportunities for self-management and growth. There are consistent team meetings where we discuss the pros and cons of the industry and any new developments so that we can share this information with our merchants and be knowledgeable in our always changing industry. We have a team environment that is solid so that if we have someone out of the office business still runs smoothly and our merchants are top of mind and their processing needs are met. Our merchants are treated with the upmost respect and integrity as they are not a number to us but a part of our growing team.

The only cons to the industry as a whole is technology is consistently changing and it requires all hands on deck at all times to keep educated and to make changes as necessary to help our merchants' businesses grow. Change can be hard for some people so it is our position to help our merchants through these times with little stress and impact to their work environment.
