Pros

Working at Utiva offers exposure only to product managers who are new to the tech industry, not to those with years of experience in the field. The fast-paced nature of the startup pushes you and allows you to take on heavy responsibilities early. It is a fantastic place to build your portfolio and sharpen your tech or growth skills as a newbie.

Cons

1. Working at Utiva can be challenging due to the frequent changes in requirements after features have already been built and deployed. This often results in rework, shifting priorities, and delays to the team's delivery timelines. 2. In my experience, there is limited room to challenge decisions made by the CEO, and concerns raised by team members are not always adequately addressed. This can make collaboration and decision-making difficult. 3. I also observed instances of unprofessional communication from leadership toward employees. Additionally, the company can be reluctant to invest in essential work tools and resources while maintaining high expectations for product quality and delivery. 4. The company does not provide HMO or pension benefits for employees, despite these being benefits that many professionals expect as part of their employment package. 5. There is also a lack of company-provided work devices for employees, while employees are still required to sign NDAs and adhere to confidentiality requirements. In my view, this does not align with common practices in many technology organizations where secure, company-managed devices are provided to support compliance and productivity. These observations are based on my personal experience working at the company.
