Pros

The overall culture at WSC (and within WA State and ESD) is positive. My work team in particular (operations) worked well together and valued each other. Management is constantly working to make improvements. The pay, benefits package, flex-schedules, and ability to work remotely was the best that I've experienced. Being part of the washington state government, a staff person at WSC has a number of state gov. resources available to them for training etc.

Cons

The downside of management constantly looking to make improvements is that those improvements are sometimes made in a disorderly way. Some changes are made rashly, and others go through long bureaucratic "lean" or "change management" processes or are shelved for later. This can be frustrating if you are involved in the planning or execution of some part of the new process.
