Pros
Right from the start, I knew working for Wheel was going to be an opportunity like no other! No matter what role the people at Wheel have everyone seems to take an extra amount of pride in working together and supporting each other. It is easy to tell everyone wants to be there, wants to provide excellent experiences for the patients, and wants to be sure everyone is on board with information. The electronic health record we use is intuitive, easy to navigate, and fun to use. In addition to working from home, the best part is being able to choose what hours I work. Work-life balance does not begin to demonstrate the FREEDOM that working for Wheel can provide. I would have never thought using the words Work and Freedom could be joined by a "job". Wheel is not a job, it's an opportunity to do what I love, from a place where I am comfortable because my co-workers share the same passion and drive and represent each other in a way we can all be proud of.
Cons
Wheel is an amazing company, as the company expands and grows into itself some staff including myself are as I like to call it "benched". Since the mission is driven by matching companies with contracted clinicians, I anticipate a season of a waiting period to be matched again. Worth it.
