Pros

Sales people have independence, great leads and products that I believe in. Opportunity to advance. If you are results oriented the compensation will reward you accordingly. I have had a couple of other sales jobs and this comp plan is the best I have had.

Cons

Overnight travel required. A lot of time wasted waiting for doctors, I guess as in any job dealing with doctors.

Pros

I have been employed with Xodus Medical for over 16 years. From the top down, Xodus Medical sets a gold standard for how female employees are treated, valued, and elevated. Under the CEO's leadership, mentorship isn't just a buzzword. Women aren't just given a seat at the table here; they are actively championed for leadership roles, high-impact projects, and executive tracks. The corporate structure boasts incredible female representation across management, which speaks volumes about the company's actual commitment to breaking the glass ceiling.

Cons

I don't have any advice for management.

Pros

A foot in the door into medical device. Some nurses love the product, but unfortunately are not decision makers.

Cons

CEO is desperate and losing market share. Expectations are to waste your time aggravating hospital staff. Horrible car benefits. You will run your car to the ground. Stipends do not cover expenses and you will have to pay to do your job. Benefits are meager at best. Cutting back on benefits, and are going through a RIF. Small player pretending to be bigger than they are. Allegedly, rumors of an acquisition floating around. Compensation is extremely low and closer to an Associates role in most med device companies. Expected to fulfill an Associate TM’s and TM’s role. You will lose market share YoY. Inside sales salaries are abysmal and laughable. A desperate manufacturer hoping to reignite prior wins. Better behave yourself during corporate meetings. They are always looking for ways to target reps. Worst: They will change your comp plan and find ways not to pay you. People who stay long term have either played the company game or lack the confidence to move on. Not a marketable experience to stick around for. Surgeons will not engage and do not care about their product. It is literally an afterthought to them. Training is a waste of time as they lack the resources. And bunking during company trips is embarrassing. Lastly, high turnover and no job security. Average tenure is 3yrs before burnout.
