Pros

Zee Medical is a great job to start off with out of college to get outside sales experience. They give you a vehicle with a gas card so you don't have to worry about a vehicle expense. The territories are very big and guarded just for you. Management is very helpful and tries to provide all the tools necessary to do your job better. McKesson also provides excellent Health Care Benefits.

Cons

Long hours, even longer driving hours, low pay...I made around $1,500.00 to $2,500 per month average before taxes, but it's straight commission averaging around 18% of your sales (my goal was 16K monthly), you sometimes have to be a bill collector so you won't get charged back. Very little opportunity for advancement. My manager was awesome and he had been in the same postion for 21 years without advancement and told me he was frustrated because they were paying people more coming in the door than they were for his salary when his team always made goal every month and had been with the company so long. Also, you have to do a ton of paperwork, inventory and van reloading that takes 4-6 hours extra per-week with no compensation.

Pros

Company Vehicle. In most cases protected territories. Good benefits. Management personnel seem to be people that deserve to be where they are in the company. Easy dealing with anyone in any of the departments. This company does listen to idea's but just a little slow implementing them. Saturday& Sundays off! (Kinda miss that) I loved this company. I would still be working there but when the economy dropped I couldn't make enough money to pay the bills.

Cons

The territory your given will be the big deciding factor of income. If you just don't have a good territory you may pick up mostly small size accounts and spend a lot of time driving around trying to replenish, just to make a living instead of prospecting new accounts. Commission only but with residual. i loved this company but when the economy dropped I couldn't pay my bills.
