Pros

Pros: - Fully remote work, which offers flexibility and makes work-life management easier. - People leaders of every Operational Departments, they are very prepared;

Cons

Cons: In my experience, the company has been in a slow decline since the major organizational changes and acquisitions began. Several teams became consistently overloaded due to poor integration of newly acquired companies. Lack of unified processes across acquired teams created operational chaos and inefficiencies. Many departments have tried to provide their feedback, but the decisions always come from a top-level management that has no clear idea of the specifity and challenges of each department. Recent shifts, such as talk of layoffs and the opening of a new office outside Europe, have contributed to a sense of instability. Internal feedback surveys did not seem to lead to meaningful action; concerns were often redirected to people leaders instead of being handled at a company-wide level. Cultural values and overall employee experience feel very different from what once made the company stand out.

Thanks for your feedback, we’re glad you highlighted two things that matter a lot to us: our remote-first flexibility and the strength of our people leaders across operational departments. We also want to acknowledge the concerns you raised. Our company has recently gone through a significant evolution. That kind of growth can create friction - especially when processes and ways of working are not yet fully unified across teams. We recognise that integration can sometimes increase workload in the short term, and we are taking that seriously. A few clarifications may be helpful: - On the perception of “layoffs to cut costs”: this is not the direction that we’re taking. We don’t plan to reduce headcount; instead, we intend to continue investing in our team as we grow. - On opening an office in Mauritius: this is a strategic choice to increase the support provided to the European team. This also helps protect and reinforce our capacity to invest in our people in Europe, through more adequate compensation and development opportunities. - On feedback surveys and actionability: we agree that feedback must translate into visible action. We’re continuing to improve how we analyse insights and close the loop with teams so people can see what changes as a result of their input. We appreciate a lot the point about preserving what made iubenda special. Our goal is to keep strengthening our culture and employee experience while scaling responsibly, and we know that requires clear communication and consistent processes. Thank you again for sharing. If you’d be open to it, we are happy to welcome more detailed input through our internal channels so we can better understand the specific situations behind your experience and continue improving.

Pros

- Remote work - Flexible hours - Good support from colleagues - Fun social contacts even with distances - New career plan looks promising but need follow-up from manager Freedom to follow new career path inside the company. Many chances to learn.

Cons

Managers are not experienced, don’t understand how to communicate strategy and feedback. iubenda is not known outside of Italy. Marketing must invest in PR and presence outside of Italia. Perks could be improved but new CEO promised to change it.

Thanks for your feedback, input like yours helps us continue moving in the right direction. We’re happy to hear that you’re enjoying the flexible remote setup and the overall environment. We appreciate your observations on leadership follow-up. Improving how feedback and career plans are executed is a priority for us. We recognize that company-wide announcements must be consistently reinforced through managers, and we’re actively investing in leadership training (also at a group level) to support this. On another note, expanding our international presence and visibility is an important focus, and our marketing efforts are increasingly aligned with that goal. Finally, regarding perks, we are happy to confirm that changes are planned and almost ready to get rolled out!
