I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cisco in Dec 2010
Interview
went to career fair, submitted resume, after a month they contact you to set up an interview (you and 10 others for that particular category)... after you wait for an e-mail to get offered a second round of interviews with ALL the students across the nation who are competing for different positions through the organization... the day of the interview was like speed dating where there was a table set up but all the interviews took place simultaneously. i interviewed with 3 senior mgrs/director for an hour long each (sometimes i interviewed with two during the table) after you are done, you get a 5 minute break for refresh and do it again. it was intimidating and the process was way different from the way i interviewed before. overall - they were really friendly and just wanted to get to know you and some of your experience/background to assess where you'd fit in the group.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (Bengaluru) in Aug 2025
