Pension Plan

I have no used this yet but you need at least 10 yrs to make it pay

Most of the retirement plan is based on a 401K type Thrift Savings Plan which one can contribute 15% toward and the govt matches at 5%. There is an additional fully funded pension plan which pays 1% for each year of service based on high 3 years salaries.

Even though I was not eliigible for a pension plan being an intern I still knew how the plans worked. This job would have been great if I could have stayed.
