      Horrible, horrible, horrible!!

      Not many if any.. There's Weekly pay You get discounted* (not free) services Despite some catty waxers - coworkers were generally friendly

      Horrible upper management from Corporate REQUIRED, not requested, that every waxer work 6/7 days, a week nearly 60 hours, no breaks (one waxer was 8 months pregnant & was still held to these hours) No medical benefits No response from Corporate for employee requests of time off or schedule changes etc. Insane turn over rate at reception/managers (or supervisors as they would call it) THEY REUSE WAX AFTER SERVICES. POUR RIGHT BACK INTO MAIN LARGE WAX POT. LAB TECHNICIANS ARE TAUGHT TO DO THIS.

      Pay good , The wax is awesome and clients are great

      Cons

      No consideration , always requested to work 60 hours a week with no break, the supervisor was very sarcastic and hostile. The rules we're way out of hand and The cleaning people we're the ones who managed the place which it should people with management experience.

Regretfully, your experience as a Waxer at a franchised Uni K Wax Center location was not pleasant in respect to the management of the Center. Each Uni K Wax Center is independently owned and operated and therefore the management style of individuals can vary greatly.       Great company, not so great bosses

      Pros

      I like being proud of the product that I represent so I liked that I felt confident when recommending Uni k wax to new clients. The waxers are great.

      Cons

      I don't like getting yelled at for no reason. I felt like I was in the army. Maybe it was just that location. I would have stayed if it wasn't for one of the owners.
