How is management perceived at 4 Star Restaurant Group?

Amazing, down-to-earth, helpful coworkers who I genuinely enjoyed spending time with at work. Servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders really mesh well and lend a helping hand wherever they can. Lot of hard workers going above and beyond for their tables

consistently mercurial, snappy managers who were constantly being transferred to different restaurants. Never know if you're gonna get praised or mocked when asking a question. Tense vibes coming from BoH staff. I worked there 3 years and none of them ever learned my name

My coworkers were the best thing about this place

Come in hours 2 hours early to get paid at $8.40 and hour and no tips for 2 hours. Bartenders tip out bussers, food runners, and hostesses. Everyone basically pays eachothers salary so they don't have to pay anyone minimum wage. Hostesses do not sit bar, yet we still tip them out. Owners are rude and verbally abuse lower management to the point they can't keep any of them. Very low pay for a bartending job, with a ton of work. They want pre-made batches of some drinks and fresh squeezed lemon and lime which takes hours to make, yet bartenders make 1/4 of what the servers do. Also, only parking available for lowly staff is across caldwell at a closed business. Not sure what their plan is going to be if someone purchases the business, but crossing Caldwell at 11pm alone is like crossing a highway. Huge sense of superiority among owners, their friends, and investors. Really awful owners.
