      The ship continues to sink

      Business Outlook

      Pros

I'm not sure anymore. The pros I can think of are almost immediately negated by cons. For example: - Offices are pleasant, but not for those with nuerodiversity. - Hybrid working, but they track your attendance. - Flexible working. Requests are generally declined. - Inclusive. Only if it impacts diversity you can see - and even then it's some white middle class HR Director dictating it. - Benefits are good. But typically grow based on what the c-suite want, ie a EV car salary sacrifice used by the CFO only.

      Cons

Just don't. It's good you researched AQA as an employer. And of course, make your own judgement. If you really need a job and this is the only option then do what you must. If this is a potential - I highly recommend you go with the other option. I don't have the wordcount available to talk through the myriad of issues this place faces. The WORST place I've worked by a country mile - and I used to recruit people into it - so you'd think I might have some glimmer of good to share. I don't.

Toxic Workplace & a complete sinking ship

      It support
      Current employee
      Manchester, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Free healthcare - Gym

      Cons

      - Toxic culture from top down which sinks all the way down. - No Team culture or cohesion, disagreements between teams even in the same directorate. - Silo Culture, very little collaboration between departments, especially before and during busy summer period. - Lack of progression, company institutionalises staff to stay in the same job. Offering no pathways to progress career. - Big Brother sort of approach to flexible working, when in reality they are constantly monitoring as and when you have been the office. Which isn’t allowing people to work at their best. However, this is driven from the top down. - Pointless Perks which only benefit the CFO or those in SLT such as the Ev car scheme, who is going to sacrifice £400-500 of their salary?
