Pros
Frequent pizza parties and 5$ starbucks gift cards.
Cons
My time working at AWP Safety was nothing short of disheartening, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. Firstly, the management at AWP Safety was highly incompetent. There was a severe lack of communication, direction, and support from upper management, which made it nearly impossible to thrive in my role. Decisions were made arbitrarily without considering the impact on employees, resulting in a toxic work environment. Furthermore, the company culture was toxic and demoralizing. There was a pervasive sense of retaliation, inappropriate comments and behavior, excessive micromanagement, fear-based leadership, and favoritism/nepotism with certain employees receiving preferential treatment while others were left to fend for themselves. This created resentment and division among the team, hindering collaboration and productivity. Additionally, the compensation and benefits offered by AWP Safety were inadequate and far below industry standards. Despite putting in long hours and going above and beyond in my role, I felt undervalued and underappreciated by the company. Moreover, there was a complete lack of opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Despite expressing interest in advancing my career and taking on additional responsibilities, I was met with empty promises and excuses from management. In conclusion, my experience at AWP Safety was profoundly disappointing. The lack of competent management, toxic company culture, insufficient compensation, and limited opportunities for growth made it a miserable place to work. I would caution anyone considering employment with this company to think twice before accepting an offer.
Pros
Fully Remote, very little oversight or micro-management, good pay, excellent benefits
Cons
Very little oversight, support, communication, expectations without communication, zero flexibility of implementation plans. Shouting down any bottom-up suggestions (employees consistently retaliated against when good suggestions make managers look bad) Entire architecture built on a zero-trust-of-employees model reliant on external vendors disallowing of many industry best-practices or common sense. In part due to extremely high turnover initiated by change-of-regime with nepotism hiring abound. First managerial decision was to fire the longest-term IT employee (10+ years) to "make an example" and show that nobody is above being fired. Then, proceeded to spend 6 months recovering from the loss of critical institutional knowledge with zero option of contacting the former employee. ( The former longest-term was often the primary focus of the above-mentioned open mocking and ridicule ) Openly mocking the character and efforts of past employees, encouraging an extremely toxic non-team dynamic. Several (not all) managers bragging about how over-the-top they went speaking negatively of former employees when potential new employers call.
Pros
Gained hands-on traffic control experience. Opportunity to travel to different sites
Cons
Leadership and communication declined after supervisor left • Scheduling is often inconsistent and last minute • Pay does not reflect the workload or safety risks • Lack of accountability and support from management • Morale has dropped significantly among the crew
Pros

Pros
-Best reason to work here is your direct coworkers. The people that work with me on a day to day basis are some of the best coworkers I've ever had.
Cons
Senior members of leadership consistently contradict themselves, are unorganized, and not tapped in to their team culture at all. Inconsiderate of their employees time/lives. Promises opportunities for growth but then turns around and says they are not worried about how high turnover rates are within corporate or that there are no opportunities for growth internally.
