Pros
Airtasker does an excellent job of attracting top talent, so there is a ton of potential on each team and managers tend to be fantastic. For most roles, you're given the autonomy you need, and pay is competitive for Sydney.
Cons
CEO puts a lot of lip service behind company goals/accountability, prioritising employee satisfaction, and transparent communication, but does not follow through on these things. He's disconnected from the consequences of his actions and makes sudden, executive decisions that undermine existing initiatives and leave teams in an almost constant tailspin. A C-Suite was hired to provide checks and balances and create stability, but every single member of the exec team quit within 2 years. In that same time period, something like 60% of the company churned across all departments. Airtasker is so close to an amazing place to work, but there are some serious issues that flow downhill and make it a dead-end for anyone who wants to build something great.
