Cons

Pros
Management and Co-workers are great to work with. Reasonable hours. Flexible Schedule. Great discount for all employees and benefits for full time.
Cons
Pay is a little low. Building needs some work.
Pros
Good benefits and salary. The people are great. Other benefits are really nice like EE discount and sample sale (i.e. free sidewalk sale for EE's).
Cons
Recent upper management changes since CEO retired makes things a little chaotic.
Pros
(1) When I joined, the leadership team truly cared and did their best to create a great experience for the customer and team members while dealing with continual budget cuts. (2) The pay and benefits were good.
Cons
(1) The really good leadership is gone. The people who advocated for the stores and customers have either been laid off, quit, or "retired" (heavy on those quotation marks there). (2) While there are still some top-notch team members, the most toxic of the leadership team remains. (3) There have been several rounds of layoffs and (store closures) in the past 2 years, and I'm sure there will be more. Some of these moves made sense, but reducing staffing from already bare-bones stores is nuts. How can you expect to restock the floor and serve customers without people to do the work? (4) The product quality is not very good, and neither is the return policy. They'll sell you cute-looking crap and then not let you return it when it shows more than expected wear and tear. (5) H&F, the firm that acquired At Home, is too focused on short-term profit and doesn't see the bigger picture. (6) It's sort of disgusting that the company has been willing to spend $$$$ on corporate events (not to mention the very fancy remodeled office) but argue over a tiny incentive budget for stores.
Pros
Fantastic people, lots of opportunities to cross train and grow. Only slightly physically demanding but they are extremely accommodating. Most of management was extremely supportive and kind. As a neurodivergent young adult I found this job to be a very good fit. Not too overstimulating with very well set boundaries and schedules. Expectations are made extremely clear. Company itself is fantastic, benefits for employees are amazing, healthcare, free therapy, 25% off storewide. Basically same as Ikea. Low traffic during the day in the store, store is kept at a comfortable temperature.
Cons
Had issues with certain people in upper management, mostly we didn’t jive personality wise. Job was occasionally stressful when we’d get busy on weekends and we’d have a super long line. Much of the work is arbitrary and kind of useless. I enjoy tasks that are low pressure but I know some people don’t enjoy doing meaningless work. Much of my job was opening boxes or rearranging the store when I wasn’t cashiering.
Pros
Good benefits and salary. The people are great. Other benefits are really nice like EE discount and sample sale (i.e. free sidewalk sale for EE's).
Cons
Recent upper management changes since CEO retired makes things a little chaotic.
Pros
Good benefits. Merchandising freedom to be creative
Cons
Pay, lean payroll model, you are just a number
Pros
Employee discount 25% Good benefits
Cons
The company has changed alot since the CEO left. Lots of new faces at the highest levels. Compensational benefits for managers dont exist anymore. Workload is insane for the amount of labor hours given. Customer service expectations are insane compared to the level of staffing. District managers and up "dont want to hear excuses only see results." Company could be going under due to the current macroeconomic environment but is leaving employees in the dark. Pay is substandard compared to other salaries for similar roles and environments. Work/life balance no longer exists.
Pros
Good people good benefits yes
Cons
Lack of strategy in senior leadership
