How are career development opportunities at Attio?

      Pros

Great culture, team and managers, nice customers who (mostly) love our amazing product. Leadership is very open to feedback and there are lots of opportunities for growth

      Cons

Work volume can be a lot, but that's because the company is growing so fast

Things move fast, but in a very exciting direction!

      Pros

Attio is really hot right now, so you get to build amazing, fun things, fully dive into a super competitive environment, and watch the company grow at a wild pace. Since it’s still a startup, you get a ton of autonomy and are expected to make a lot of decisions yourself. You work with seriously talented people, which is a huge plus if, like me, you’ve been frustrated by less competent teams in the past. The startup vibe is very much alive, whole team learns as you go. Individual recognition happens at every level, and the team celebrates wins, so you don’t feel like just another cog in a big machine. And yeah, the compensation for your work is genuinely great.

      Cons

Attio moves fast, and you’re expected to keep up, so being deeply involved is the norm. Overtime isn’t ignored, but it does happen, especially around big milestones. If you’re looking for a place to quietly coast through a 9-5, this won't really work out. Extra engagement, autonomy, and decision-making are valued above everything else. Things can change quickly on any project, so you either show up with a high tolerance for dynamic work or you’ll learn it here.

A brilliant place to do meaningful work

      Pros

I’ve been at Attio for around three months now, and I can honestly say I’ve had an incredible experience so far. From the very beginning, the team made me feel genuinely welcome. The interview process was engaging, thoughtful, and tailored — it gave real insight into the role, the expectations, and the people I’d be working with. It felt like a two-way conversation throughout, which really stood out. Onboarding was efficient, transparent, and completely stress-free. Everything was well structured, and I felt supported from day one. Since joining, I’ve continued to feel incredibly welcomed by everyone across the business. The culture at Attio is immersive, and the people are genuinely exceptional. There’s huge exposure to meaningful delivery, strategic thinking, and operationally focused work, which makes the role both challenging and rewarding. I’ve really enjoyed collaborating with colleagues at all levels of the company — everyone is passionate about what they do, highly capable, and driven to perform at a high standard. It’s been a pleasure working here, and I can confidently say I made the right choice in joining Attio.

      Cons

As with any company at the beginning of a journey to reshape an industry, there’s naturally a degree of ambiguity, rapid evolution, and change. Things move quickly, and priorities can shift as the business continues to grow and learn. As we scale, there’s an ongoing opportunity to continue building, refining, and innovating internal processes to support that growth and ensure teams can operate as efficiently as possible. That said, this is something I personally enjoy — I don’t see it as a negative, but rather as an exciting part of being early in a high-growth company. If you’re someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to help shape how things are done, it’s a really energising journey to be part of.

      Awesome Product / High Momentum

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      • Morale around product and company trajectory is insanely high. • Compensation is great + real moon-shot chance with stock options. • Can feel the value in everything new that's built - customers love it! • Not just a ticket monkey; everyone has a high degree of ownership. • Tons of opportunity for growth; efforts are recognised and rewarded. • Insanely high bar for talent (not only on a technical level, but also agency/taste/friendliness/etc).

      Cons

      • It is stressful; the stakes are high and there is lots to build. • Sometimes feels like pressure is used as a tool from the top down to achieve results, though it's always fair and never petty. • Fits the Netflix "sports team" company archetype; it's engaging and clearly works, but isn't for everyone. • Not much opportunity for newer ICs to innovate outside of typical product work. • As we've grown it feels a bit like the culture has become a bit monotone and somewhat cliquey.
