      Pros

I’ve been at Attio for around three months now, and I can honestly say I’ve had an incredible experience so far. From the very beginning, the team made me feel genuinely welcome. The interview process was engaging, thoughtful, and tailored — it gave real insight into the role, the expectations, and the people I’d be working with. It felt like a two-way conversation throughout, which really stood out. Onboarding was efficient, transparent, and completely stress-free. Everything was well structured, and I felt supported from day one. Since joining, I’ve continued to feel incredibly welcomed by everyone across the business. The culture at Attio is immersive, and the people are genuinely exceptional. There’s huge exposure to meaningful delivery, strategic thinking, and operationally focused work, which makes the role both challenging and rewarding. I’ve really enjoyed collaborating with colleagues at all levels of the company — everyone is passionate about what they do, highly capable, and driven to perform at a high standard. It’s been a pleasure working here, and I can confidently say I made the right choice in joining Attio.

      Cons

As with any company at the beginning of a journey to reshape an industry, there’s naturally a degree of ambiguity, rapid evolution, and change. Things move quickly, and priorities can shift as the business continues to grow and learn. As we scale, there’s an ongoing opportunity to continue building, refining, and innovating internal processes to support that growth and ensure teams can operate as efficiently as possible. That said, this is something I personally enjoy — I don’t see it as a negative, but rather as an exciting part of being early in a high-growth company. If you’re someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to help shape how things are done, it’s a really energising journey to be part of.

Best company I've been employed at

      Pros

On-point company values which are actually lived in practice. High trust, high autonomy. I can count on my colleagues to do what they say they will do. ICs communicate between each other and self-organize work autonomously all the time. An excellent manager who inspires discipline, communicates early and clearly, makes intelligent decisions, and maintains focus very well, among other great personal qualities. An amazing CEO who leads with energy, humor, and enthusiasm, has attracted a cohort of extremely qualified colleagues and advisors, and always inspires confidence and optimism. Amazing people who show up as their whole self. Every interaction with every colleague is a joy. Excellent company brand in our industry. Our work is highly visible and acclaimed, resulting in great connections. The company also supports us building a public "personal brand", especially in areas where it is synergistic with the work we do internally. Great tools and resources – we are provided the best software, the best computers, budgets for additional tools, relevant travel, etc. Company-wide track record of recognizing and rewarding high performers and responsibility-owners, e.g. with promotions. Clear mentorship and support towards career goals, despite being a somewhat early stage startup.

      Cons

The team is lean, so at certain periods the workload can be very high. For some team members these periods can last long, especially as the company takes a long time to hire new people share the workload. Many processes, most visibly hiring and design, can rely on subjectivity, opinions, "taste", etc., at times bordering on micromanagement – even though we almost always arrive at good decisions and executions in the end, and I almost always agree with the opinions that come from above, many leaders in the company can (and over time, do) learn to be more efficient.

      Supportive culture focused on building

      Pros

      - Love that the entire team is truly encouraged to build (if you have a potential solution in mind, help make it happen) - The team is supportive and the culture overall is healthy: people are thoughtful, feedback is encouraged, and nearly everyone is customer-focused - Leadership balances the needs of the business with the needs of its people; transparency is strong here and decisions are clearly communicated.

      Cons

Par for the course, but we've still got a lot to figure out as a company and product, so every day is working toward getting ourselves that clarity. Building new processes, defining what success looks like for us, and getting alignment across a growing team - all critical to our success and actively taking place!

      Pros

Huge market to build a platform in and we're winning. So much investment into the product has positioned us ahead of competitors and we clearly bring so much joy to customers. Genuinely love spending time working with colleagues on every challenge [there are lots of them] as well as lunching and offsites together. Extremely rare to find a company that has $Billions IPO potential.

      Cons

Harder to stay fully aware of the reasons behind everything we are building / doing / hiring as we scale.
