      poor management, toxic environment

      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

people are friendly, and work-life balance.

      Cons

Extremely bad experience. Toxic environment with a lot of politics and manipulation. No career growth, poor management, and most times the VP cannot make wise decision about what they want and even what they are doing. People who have no the background is on the position trying to teach you what to do, or ignore any of your suggestions. No transparency and no openness talking about technical problems and the raw data. Put a lot of efforts on meaningless project even in the case when the data group leader knows that they are wasting time and money.

      No Career Growth

      Data scientist
      Former employee
      Santa Clara, CA

      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Easy to talk to coworkers because all cubicles are closely packed. Used to have some snacks and fruits in the kitchen, now they buy cheapest fruits that are about to go bad any time…

      Cons

This location is about to get closed out for sure. Some people have been let go due to funding issue, and some people got a huge salary cut….99 percent new graduates; very incompetent VP/manager… The company has had a new grad to be staff level engineer… if you ask the VP any question, he will give you speeches for 20 minutes without answering your question; no one has a full story of what stage the “product” is at or if there is a real product; nothing progresses, endless meetings. Avoid here at all cost… but highly doubt they are even hiring anymore.
