      Great Agency

      Contract manager
      Current employee
      New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great communication, great staff, good benefits

      Cons

Work-life balance. They only pay major holidays off. They do not match the holidays the employer has off or give employees a separate bank for sick days, so you have to use PTO. PTO is only 1 hour per 15 hours worked. The benefits are ok but not great.

      Good company

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee
      Newbury, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The benefits are good and the salary is okay, not the best but work hours are good.

      Cons

      The salary should be higher

Good benefits but no job security

      Legal consultant
      Former employee
      Singapore
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The benefits that the company provides is good. They also give you proper information to prepare you for interviews with clients (companies). It is also easier to find secondment roles because they will assess your profile and the role before putting your profile forward to the client.

      Cons

The only con of such an arrangement is the lack of job security. Clients can sometimes come with very last minute notice to let you know that the contract is not extending so you have to be prepared for this instability.

Strong communication but meetings can feel redundant

      Employee relations specialist
      Former contractor
      Atlanta, GA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great communication and transparency throughout my contract, assistance with benefits if needed.

      Cons

      Weekly meeting sometimes felt unnecessary.

      Started Great - Ending Poorly

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee

      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The benefits offered are good - beyond healthcare, we have a lot of "extras"

      Cons

Honestly, there are so many. The organization was doing well, and in general, the employees were happy, and I personally felt listened to. Within the last 2.5 years, something changed - it began with the turnover of 4 executive leaders in less than 3 months, and then Summer Fridays were removed - meaning we no longer had the option of ending work at 2 pm during the summer - and quickly following that, were told that the week between Christmas and New Years was no longer a holiday week. We didn't receive merit bonuses or cost-of-living increases last year, and our end-of-year bonus has been consistently underfunded. At the same time, our executives continue to make well into the 6-figure, while their lowest paid employees aren't making a livable wage and have to scrape by without a chance to save money. I've been overworked for literal years now, at one point working 80+ hours a week without being eligible for OT and without any assistance. When I expressed that fact, I was told (although not explicitly) that I wasn't contributing enough or wasn't being a team player. I was told there was growth and the company preferred to promote from within, which is only partially true. I spoke to multiple executive leaders about my career ambitions, where I wanted to grow, and how to get there, and I had all the support from my direct manager, who mentored me and wanted to see me grow. Time and again, I would apply for positions I was qualified for and that were recommended to me, only to be turned down before the interview stage. If I could say one thing to anyone considering this organization: Don't - its not worth your time.

      Eliminated Health Insurance Benefits

      Privacy legal counsel
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexibility and Fortune 500 client opportunities

      Cons

Over the past four years they have severely cut the benefit offerings and in November notified full time employees that they will no longer offer health insurance. They lied and said comparable health insurance is available through a federally regulated stipend. However the stipend did not even cover the employees premium let alone a family of 5 premiums. The company they referred employees to for coverage offered sub-standard insurance that charged over 4k a month for premiums. It also took all of the employees personal data and exposed their and their family members dob, ssn and other personal data in a data breach. Horrible experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how important health coverage and benefits are for our legal talent and their families, and we recognize that changes in this area are never easy, and we understand that not everyone will agree with or feel positively about those decisions. We’re committed to communicating transparently and to regularly evaluating our benefits offerings and support resources based on employee input. When we evaluate benefits, our goal is always to make the most responsible and sustainable choices for the broad majority of our employees. We are not aware of any data breach involving employee information related to benefits enrollment. We take the protection of personal data extremely seriously, and we expect the same rigorous standards from all of our vendors and partners. We’re sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations, and we appreciate you raising these concerns. We’d like to learn more about your experience - if you’d be open to discussing this further, please reach out to us at answers@axiomlaw.com.

Solid Contract Opportunity at a Major Tech Company

      Privacy counsel
      Former employee
      Birmingham, AL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Axiom placed me in an engaging privacy counsel role at PayPal, a big-name client I really enjoyed working with. The work was intellectually stimulating—handling marketing reviews, vendor contracts, and cutting-edge privacy issues in fintech and payments. Competitive hourly pay, fully remote flexibility, and strong support from Axiom's team during onboarding and throughout the engagement. It's a great model if you want high-level in-house experience without the full-time big law or corporate grind. Many other attorneys I've seen in reviews echo this: Axiom shines when they match you with prestigious clients that align with your expertise.

      Cons

As a contract position, there are no traditional benefits or paid time off, and there can be gaps between engagements if you're not proactive. Work volume depends on client needs, which adds some uncertainty.
