What is working from home like at BDC?

It is Strictly work from home,

Not great pay. Not very good training, very limited. $25 per appointment that you book. They expect you to make well over 100 outgoing calls per shift, but how can you do that when you end up with a customer on the line that has a list of grievances and wants to tell someone.... you can't exactly hang up. You're supposed to just note the problem, but you are not allowed to follow up with the customer or employer.

Crown corporations have good stability and benefits.

Dull day to day, uninterested management using 1980s techniques. Mandatory work from office while your manager/director enjoys WFH benefits. "Open concept" floor plan is really designed to enable micromanagement.
