What are perks and other benefits like at Blattner Company?

- Great benefits for those in the field (free truck, paid rotations, per diem, etc.)

- You likely top out in your field career. Certainly can rise to project manager quickly in 5+ years with a college degree, but hard to be in the field that long.

I didn't get excited about the work and it was difficult to become a community when the crews changed for every project. The culture was cut throat and difficult for women, more difficult than my other experiences in construction.

Higher level management constantly make empty promises and tell you all you're getting raise, more hrs, promotion, etc etc. Completely unorganized, improper planning (if any at all. No division works with another for beneficial jobsite completion. Mass layoffs unannounced, resulting in dramatic understaff. Say they're clean layoffs, then they don't file the layoff with clean layoff code to be eligible for unemployment benefits.
