What are perks and other benefits like at BoomPop?

The team here is truly amazing—positive, fun, and full of energy. The team culture is strong, and everyone genuinely loves being here, which makes the day-to-day work exciting and rewarding. There are so many opportunities for growth, and the benefits are fantastic. The event planning team is absolutely badass—not only is everyone incredibly supportive, but the dynamic we share is unmatched. This is, hands down, the best company I’ve ever worked at!

As a startup, processes are ever-evolving, While I personally see this as a positive for growth and innovation, it’s not a fit for everyone. If you prefer a more static work environment, this might be a challenge. There are also times you may have to stretch your bandwidth but I think the company has taken positive steps towards resolving this issue for the events team!

Culture is awesome at BoomPop. No egos and everyone is super nice. Benefits are awesome - company pays 100% of premiums which is unheard of. The work is fun also. Company offsite quarterly for the remote team to come together. Really cool place to work. Also, equity is a part of the comp package.

Work is fast paced. Onboarding can be a lot of information coming at you fast.

I have found remote work a little isolating sometimes, but it is all up to personal preference! The company is very fast-paced (still a start-up), so new employees must be ready to jump right in and immediately take on projects.

I've haven't been at BoomPop long, but I already feel like I've been here for years! That's not due to an insane workload or anything similar, but rather due to a few things: - The wonderful culture and support from my peers - The level of trust leadership has in me so quickly into my role - The visibility I have with leadership - The effect I can and have made on processes and the general organization already - The confidence I have in myself for my role based on strong onboarding plans and SOP guidelines — The strong understanding I have from leadership of BoomPop's goals and plans as a company and where my role fits in I highly recommend working for BoomPop if you're up for a fun, inclusive, fast paced, never boring, company! The benefits and remote culture are wonderful, the team is even better, and the quarterly travel is such a treat.

There is no 401K match yet! That's the only con I can think of.

The people at BoomPop are passionate and driven. The culture is unique, humble, and exciting. While the team is remote, people are very engaged. We are a proactive group that always wants to improve, while at the same time we don't take ourselves too seriously. BoomPop Slack channels and meeting decks are filled with emojis. One quirky/special touch: each week, the company announces a unicorn at our weekly all-hands meeting. Other cool benefits: quarterly offsites, and top-notch medical plans.

As a series A start-up, structure is in progress and we move quickly. You'll enjoy BoomPop if you are a self-starter and can thrive in this environment. While this is a pro for me, it's something to look out for because it's not for everyone.
