Pros
Incredible benefits package. Specifically the retirement package is unparalleled. generous CME allowance. Very generous PTO. Salary is fair and commensurate with experience. Overall very knowledgeable and easy to work with physicians.
Cons
The schedule does not allow for a good work/life balance. Particularly those with children. Lots of switching between evenings and days with up to five days worked in a week. Mandatory rotating holidays with no additional compensation for holidays. No hours credit/pay for being on call, only compensated for call-in. Has been forced overtime due to staffing issues given relatively high turnover. Overtime is paid out quarterly rather than monthly.
